Enspiri Solutions software platform has been developed to serve four primary functions to streamline workers’ compensation nurse triage management.
Initial Call Intake
The first two minutes of a call are critical. With Enspiri Solutions, initiating a call is extremely quick and easy. Important information such as location, insurance, TPA, and employee data can be pre-populated once the caller is identified. Accurately and quickly initiating the call dramatically increases success.
Nurse Triage
When the intake process is complete, the call is passed to a Registered Nurse if further assistance is required. Enspiri Solutions assists the RN through a logic tree approach – allowing the nurse to ask and answer questions based on proprietary triage algorithms developed expressly for workers’ compensation.
The end result is properly identifying the injury, the recommended treatment, and, if necessary, the treatment facility (i.e. clinics, hospitals, doctor’s offices), as quickly as possible.
Optimal Treatment
Once proper triage has occurred, the RN is presented with precise and meaningful treatment solutions – appropriate to the level of care needed by the injured worker. This includes choices in medical facilities in close proximity which offer the services needed to properly care of the worker.
Report Creation & Distribution
The Enspiri Solutions reporting engine generates and submits all of the documentation in one easy-to-use tool. Gone are the days of having to piece together and distribute reports from multiple sources.
At the end of each call, a series of reports will be generated and distributed, including the First Report of Injury (FROI) which is typically sent to the carrier or TPA. It also includes reports for the employer, supervisor, and other interested parties, as well as a report for the medical facility to which the injured worker was referred. This provider report gives the facility all the information required to properly treat and care for the injured worker.
Call Center Services
Many organizations want to offer nurse triage services, but they either don’t have the experience, or they are limited by inadequate resources.
